Hurricane Maria has cause a serious a damage to the Caribbean island of Dominica. This is as a result of the latest Atlantic storm barrels into territories still reeling from Irma.
Our reporter has it that the hurricane increased it’s velocity to an “extremely dangerous” and “potentially catastrophic” category five storm on Monday night, before making landfall with top winds swirling at 160mph.
Hurricane Maria Hits Dominica With Heavy Storm
According to Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, he said that the city has lost all what money can buy and replace. “The winds are merciless! We shall survive by the grace of God.”
Weather forecast reported that the storm is moving along roughly just the same path as Hurricane Irma, which devastated several islands and parts of Florida earlier this month.

Not less than 37 people were killed by Hurricane Irma. Furthermore it also caused billions of pounds of damage. Sir Richard Branson’s private Necker island, part of the British Virgin Islands, was said to be destroyed.
