John Cena Sued By Ford For Selling $500k Supercar
John Cena has been sued by Ford for allegedly selling his new $500k ’17 Ford GT Supercar. Report has it that he has violated a contract deal with the company, and they’re taking him to court.
Ford and Cena signed a contract deal in which he agreed to hold onto the car for at least 2 years. Soon after receiving the car, Cena flipped it for a big profit.
Cena was “selected from among thousands of applicants for the opportunity to purchase the Ford GT.” according to the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Michigan.
Ford claim that John Cena has illegally made a large profit from the unauthorized resale flip of the vehicle. Furthermore, they has also suffered additional damages and losses, which include but not limited to:
- Loss of brand value
- Ambassador activity
- Customer goodwill due to the improper sale.
However, John Cena is not the only celeb who had the Ford GT. Other celebrities like Justin Verlander and Joey Logano also own the mob.
Ford is now demanding that Cena should hands over all the profit he made from the sale and as well other damages. On the other hand, Cena told the company that he sold the car, along with other property, to pay bills.
